SUGGESTIONS
Packing Checklist:
· Good Quality walking shoes or hiking boots, bring extra light shoes or sandals,crocs to wear at end of the day’s hike
· Several pairs of socks (Hiking socks are recommended)
· Large Waterproof Backpack or duffel bag (transported to the campsite each night)
· Small Tent, people can share a tent.
· Small Waterproof backpack or bag (smaller, for carrying with you as you walk)
· 1-2 changes of clothes, Such as 1-2 shirts, 2 bottoms
· Clothes to sleep in
· Sweatshirt or warm pullover
· Raingear
· Sunscreen and Hat
· Food for meals (water is provided, also a meager breakfast toast coffee, tea. Evening meal soup, bread. Hot water will be available for instant meal.s
· Eating utensils (spoon, fork, knife. plate)
· Mug for coffee and evening soup (bring tea bags if you prefer tea)
· Pillow
· Sleeping bag
· Tarp or plastic mat to keep off moisture from the ground
· Toiletries, including washcloth, hand towel, and soap. There are no showers available, just means for quick washing of face etc.
· Any needed medications
· Band-aids, antibacterial ointment
· Blister prevention cream and/or moleskin to prevent blisters
· Phone ( each overnight rest spot will have means for charging phones)
· Flashlight
· Rosary, any prayer book
